How would I describe my photography?

The most important word I always use first is natural. So it's about interfering as little as possible. The creative aspect of this is to see the beauty as it occurs , but also to sense when it may be about to happen. So it's a case of tuning in. The camera is also a unique creative tool and can be used to see things differently. So it's not just about capturing real events which will be real memories but it can be seeing the event in a unique and beautiful way. This is true of all aspects of my work: weddings, portraits, events and PR. I photograph in a very flexible, non- directive, unobtrusive way. I do see my work with clients as a relationship of trust, which I build quickly with people I am working with, and in this way it is a partnership. I aim for quality photographs, my clients relax and enjoy themselves.

How do I see my photography developing?

I graduated in Social Administration in 1982 and then did the Diploma in Careers Guidance and worked as a Careers Advisor ( 1983 -1998) and I graduated with my HNC in Photography ( 1998 11 Distinctions ) so I have well developed photography and people skills. I also worked as a consultant NVQ assessor and tutor up to Level 4 in Guidance so I am very familiar with professional practices. It's important to keep developing and so I keep up to date with Digital equipment and techniques , and photo products. I also welcome feedback . I have been a full time professional photographer since 1998, and built a reputation I am very proud of. Most of my clients have been recommended to me, and return on a regular basis for more photography.
